OCTOBER 2001
MAKE A DIFFERENCE DAY(S)!
Join Acorn Trust on Saturday 27th October and Sunday 28th October at Stanley Burn to help the local wildlife and clean up the area. Have a chance to try your hand at seed collecting for tomorrow's forests and clearing back vegetation so pathways are more accessable. All training and equipment will be provided, just come dressed for the great outdoors and bring along your lunch and enthusiasm! You may well get a bit muddy, so be prepared. Anyone at all can join in no matter their age or ability, but if you are under 16 please bring written permission from your parent or guardian and a phone number in case of emergencies. The action will be taking place from 10.30am - 3.30pm, meet at Craghead Village Hall at the beginning of each day or come along to the woods to join in at any time during the days of the event.
