This is an ongoing project in which Acorn Trust works with a group of 10 GCSE students from Blackfyne School. They are less academically inclined than their contempories, but are keen to develop practical skills.   They go out once a fortnight with a member of the Trust's team and carry out a variety of practical tasks, such as the creation of a wildlife garden at Delves Lane Junior School and scrub clearance at Greencroft Heath Local Nature Reserve.   This is a very rewarding project which benefits both the students and the environment.
